Did I have fun? Yes it was wonderful but it is was quite tedious. Did i collaborate or ask others for an opinion? Yes I did. I asked several including Mrs. Rossi, she gave me really good feedback, people around me at my table would tell me what I should change if I asked them what I need to change. Was my work original? Yes it definitely was! I drew a sketch(will be above) of what I wanted my design to be like I did tweek something's but otherwise it like the original drawing. My title is of course Russian. Not only does it sound interesting but it's professional. Did I gain skills in painting And clay tile making? Yes I did. Was it hard? Yes it was. But it's a good skill for me to have!! And in the end I loved my final product!

Did I have fun? Yes it was wonderful but it is was quite hard and I have an all new respect for artists who can do amazing drawings like!! Did i collaborate or ask others for an opinion? Yes I did. I asked several including Mrs. Rossi, she gave me really good feedback and told me to change something's even if I didn't want to, she helped me with making my city look more realistic. A lot of the people I asked said they loved it, but I have a feeling they didn't want to criticize the work I've done even though I would love it. Was my work original? Yes it definitely was! The work I do I don't want it to look like the inspiration or it wouldn't be mine! At first I was going to do a fashion city... But then I realized that's in my comfort zone, and I wanted to do something that was a bit out of my comfort zone so I did a destroyed city. Something more dark but very detailed and interesting. My title is of course Russian. Not only does it sound interesting but it's professional. I don't want to just say here's my destroyed city, I want to say Did I gain skills in perspective?Yes I did. Was it hard? Yes it was. But it's a good skill for me to have!! And in the end I loved my final product! The pictures go from a sketch to during the cutting process to the final product. This project took some time to get every detail right, if we got one detail or piece wrong the whole thing was off. Although it was very difficult, it was actually really fun and it helped me with being patient (I'm not the best at that). Did i collaborate or ask others for an opinion? Yes I did. The work I do I don't want it to look like the inspiration or it wouldn't be mine! I want to have an eye or ear, but I decided with an ear because I wanted to title my work "proslushivaniye muzyki" which is hearing music in Russian (if you don't know I'm Russian and from there). I like simple. I love modern art, modern anything really. And simple is modern, I wanted to make something that I could hang up in my room to still have the same modernized theme. Did I gain skills in cutting paper? Yes I did that sounds really childish and easy, but it's not! Cutting small things and getting it perfect without any snags is actually really difficult and I got patience from that. Also now if my parents ask me to help them with the exacto knife I'll know how to use it and how not to get hurt. The work I do I don't want it to look like the inspiration or it wouldn't be mine! I chose the fishes because I felt like I could do more with that and the contrast was better then butterflies. My title is of course Russian. I have a plan on naming all my major projects Russian. Not only does it sound exotic and fun but also professional. The title is Ekzoticheskikh Ryb which means "Exotic Fish." Did I gain skills in cutting the print thing? Yes I did. Was it hard? Yes it was. But was it worth it to see the final product? Most definitely it was!! I chose Tinker Bell because she's one of my favorite Disney characters besides Minnie Mouse. I decided to go with Minnie Mouse and tinker bell for my drafts cause they are cute but easy yet look like a lot of work. My experience wasn't bad at all! In fact it was really good!! And I love it! I feel like everyone's skeletons turned out great!! This project was actually and surprisingly fun and simple! At first I was a little hesitant on doing it, and I didn't know what I wanted to do that looked complex yet easy and fun! So I picked a tropical fish. Not necessarily my favorite animal but they are really pretty and colorful. I used lots of color because I love to express myself with color and I mean why not bright colors? It was fine! I hated the feel of it! The texture was very waxy and felt kinda like velvet to me, and I have a phobia of velvet. So although I loved the color and how it turned out I hated working with it. By gradiation using lighter and darker shades and just doing thin layers and a time. Using white helped with the light source or highlight so yes I did show light source not to much or little so it looked real. Values important because it shows a 3D/real effect to any drawing. In this shading process it was a bit harder. We had to have different levels to make the shapes look like they are on top or under the other one!! The hardest thing for me would be the core shading and getting the highlight light enough without any stray marks. This was actually pretty simple and easy. No hard ways of shading just the control of your pencil in your hand. I didn't really have a hard doing it, besides do the action shape and trying to get it perfect. |
